About LongShots Photography
LongShots Photography was founded in 2006 and is co-located with The Studio. We specialize in senior and family portraits, and our sessions can take place in the photography studio or on location.
Your Photo Session
We meet prior to your photo session to choose locations, discuss clothing options, and determine how best to incorporate your interests in your session. Simple sessions can occur in less than an hour, while sessions that take place in the studio and multiple locations might span a few hours.
Included with every session is an online proof gallery, from which you can select your favorite poses. Those selections are retouched so they are optimized for printing.
Your Final Product
Part of our consultation process is dedicated to determining what artwork you want to come from your photo session. Long Shots offers a variety of products, from canvas wall portraits to archival-quality albums to gift items. You will also receive a digital version of every finished pose to use on social media and to save for future use.
Your Photographer
Kevin Long received his first camera at age 8, and began shooting with a 35mm SLR at age 12. After over 20 years of shooting, he made a hobby into a profession by launching Long Shots Photography in 2006. He has since captured portraits of a variety of subjects of all ages, and competed in juried competitions as well. He holds degrees from Miami University and is a member of the Perry County Council of the Arts.
