Many thanks to all those Studio families who participated in our Spring 2014 photo sessions. You can view your dancer's photos in the Studio galleries (password required). I hope you enjoy them! Galleries are divided up by class to ease your searching.
Coming soon: The Studio 2014 calendar
A couple months ago, I had the opportunity to work with a number of dancers and parents from The Studio to put together their 2014 calendar. We did some photos in the Studio, and others at locations nearby (including one that no longer exists - details will appear in an upcoming post). The dancers all did a great job (as you can see). It was a fun project, and I enjoyed being a part of it. Half of the proceeds will benefit the Studio's scholarship fund, and they'll be on sale in early November.

Five Years Proud
I'm a big fan of Studio families, so I worked hard to complete this year's recital DVD in record time. If you don't want to wait for summer lessons to pick yours up, contact Ms. Jennifer. If you haven't yet ordered a DVD and want one, let me know.To hold you over until you can watch the DVD, I've posted a number of photos from the recital and dress rehearsal (same password as spring photos). Last Saturday was a very busy day. We shot over 1400 pictures during 13 hours. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the Studio families for your help. Due to your preparation, promptness, and patience, we were able to stay on schedule throughout the day. I think I even had time to enjoy a Shamrock Shake at some point (thanks, Lissa).Your photos are uploading to the following galleries now: Monday classes, Tuesday classes, Wednesday classes, and Thursday classes. Friday students are pictured with Monday or Thursday students (depending on which class they perform with). You can order photos directly from those galleries (where individual prints are slightly less expensive) or using an order form from the studio (from which you can order a package).Thank you again for your cooperation. I hope you enjoy your pictures. Please don't hesitate to contact me with questions or special orders.
Dance picture day!
My busiest day of the year is this Saturday (which leads me to believe I should be in bed right now). I'll be photographing over 150 dancers from The Studio, some of whom will have their picture taken in four different costumes. It's a full day, to say the least, but also a lot of fun.Please understand if it's a few days before my next post.
